She said such disastrous incidents have a vast pessimistic impact on the labours of the government and the political management meant at combining the concord efforts in the state.

A cab driver was injured in a stone-pelting incident in Kulgam, the official said. Sources say that 35 civilians have been injured so far.

Terming the killings “highly regrettable”, the Army’s Srinagar-based spokesman, Lt Colonel NN Joshi said “anybody found guilty would be brought to book”.
