As per the announcement made at Google I/O 2016, users no longer need a compatible vehicle or third party program to use Android Auto. Users will now be able use keyboard themes, which do nothing significant, but help users customize the look of their keyboard.
Patrick Brady, director of Android engineering, said: “Google is committed to building Android into a platform that fuels innovation in the automotive space”.
If you’ve ever felt like you have so many tabs open your mind is about to explode, Android N simplifies the user experience with a multitasking function where you can have two pages open side by side. Moreover, both Hyundai and Honda hold full custody of any data regarding the vehicle registered in Android Auto, and that information is available only to the apps Hyundai and Honda will release on the Play Store.
