Curry expected to play in Game 4 for Golden State

After missing the last two games nursing the ankle injury he suffered in Game 1 of the opening round series against the Houston Rockets, the team has listed Curry as “probable” for Game 4 on Sunday.

Asked what gave him confidence in Curry’s fitness after a two-game absence, Kerr replied: “The fact that he has no pain and the fact that he went through the three-on-three yesterday and the full-court scrimmage today and had no pain, no limping”. Since he was expecting to play, he didn’t bring one on the road trip, and as a result, he wasn’t allowed on the bench for Thursday’s Game 3.

“If I would have got the green light, I definitely would have played and felt confident there”, Curry said Friday.

Marcus Thompson II is in Houston with the Warriors and I’m in San Jose, and this is the latest playoff-episode of “Warriors Plus Minus”.

The play, which is marked “INC” denoting an incorrect non-call, has an explanatory comment that reads: “Harden initiates contact with Iguodala to create space and dislodges him from his legal guarding position”. The finish, we’ve seen before. At the same time, we were more focused on ‘we can’t allow this team to get the ball again and shoot.’ Sometimes they play like Angels in the Outfield.

But really – can you imagine referees making that call at that moment? “And I feel that I’m at that point right now”. That happens. I was awful the whole game. “I think all of us were happy”. “They made their run, but we didn’t fold, we didn’t cave in”.

Golden State, which set the National Basketball Association record for wins in a season with 73, had won 14 of 15 and six straight over Houston before Thursday night’s loss.

Howard said the Rockets were disappointed in themselves for blowing a 17-point lead, which they lost late in the fourth quarter on a pair of buckets by Ian Clark.

Green finished with nine points, seven rebounds, seven assists and seven turnovers.
