Curry fined, not suspended for throwing mouthguard at fan
CLEVELAND The shell-shocked Golden State Warriors, who were once in complete control of the NBA Finals, are suddenly flirting with disaster after being forced to a decisive seventh game of the NBA Finals.

It came with 4:22 left and Cleveland nursing a 12-point lead. Quicken Loans Arena security was on the lookout and assumed that Ayesha Curry’s dad was the con man, David Aminzadeh.
The mouthpiece pegged a fan in the front row. “I was off aim. I was off aim”, Curry said.
Whatever happens on Sunday, the city of Cleveland celebrated like there was no tomorrow after Game 6, as fans cheered and drivers honked on their way home. Hit the flip for Twitter’s response to Curry’s Game 6 diss. He was ejected from the court when he threw his mouthpiece, unintentionally hitting a fan, following his sixth foul.
Curry didn’t like numerous calls either, and let some words – and his mouthpiece – fly after fouling out.
“So it would be a great season”, Thompson said about breaking the league’s 20-year regular season record previously held by the 72-10 Chicago Bulls, “but at the same time to us, the players, we’re so competitive, we’d feel like we failed”.
“He had every right to be upset”, Kerr said of Curry throwing his mouthpiece and getting ejected.
“He’s the MVP of the league”.
Kerr, who wasn’t too fond of some of the calls that ultimately resulted in Curry’s ejection, was fined for public criticism of officiating for comments he made in the postgame press conference.
He’s averaged 41 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, 3.5 steals, three blocks and only 1.5 turnovers since the Cavs fell behind 3-1.
The LeBron James-led Cavaliers, one victory away from becoming the first team to win an National Basketball Association championship after falling behind 3-1 in the Finals, will now head to Oakland for Sunday’s winner-take-all showdown riding a wave of momentum.
The NBA Finals is headed to a Game 7, much to the displeasure of Stephen Curry’s wife, Aysha Curry.
Curry said later he had hoped to visit with Forbes after speaking to the media but was told he already departed.
“It got the best of me, but I’ll be all right for the next game”.
She later deleted the tweet. “Or ratings. … I won’t be silent”. “Just saw it live [sorry]”, she wrote.

Any potential discipline is yet to be determined, but Kerr backed Curry’s actions.
