Curry leads the way in Warriors’ 51st straight home win
In most of the games the Warriors have left, he can afford to rotate some players and rest one key member of this team at a time, but when breaking the Bulls’ 72-10 season is so close (eight wins away from tying it), you don’t take unnecessary risks.

Prior to handling the Los Angeles Clippers on their home court for the team’s 51st consecutive regular season home win, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made a rather interesting proclamation.
The Golden State Warriors are 63-7 this season, posting the best record through the first 70 games of any season in National Basketball Association history.
For the Warriors, there are multiple “prizes” that they should have their eyes set on. “We have a lot to play for, still, so I’m not going to really worry about that. I know they want to get it. So we’ll act accordingly”. “It’s been a tough stretch for us, and it’s not going to get any easier”, forward Draymond Green said.
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Golden State Warriors, 87-79, on Saturday.
A more cautious team-a less historic team-might find a game or two of rest Curry, Thompson and Green over the next handful of games. Make no mistake, despite their respective conference standings regular season records, these two teams have matched up well with each other – resulting in hard fought battles for 48 minutes.
Currently, there aren’t many games for the Warriors to lose.
“Obviously, poor judgment”, Green said Wednesday night.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr said in the first half there didn’t seem to be the usual energy from the rivalry.
“Yeah, this whole idea of setting a record does make things a little trickier”, Kerr said. It s not the organization. “We feel like one through 15, even the guys who are hurt, can come in and play 15-20 on any given night”.
There are many different levels to this, no question.
Stephen Curry (33 points) and Klay Thompson (32) were superb as the Warriors brushed past the Los Angeles Clippers 114-98 at Oracle Arena.
With those two on the floor together against Dallas, the Warriors’ offense has been unstoppable.
“We don’t want to limp into the playoffs”, said Curry, who has started all but three of Golden State’s games this season. I was playing pretty well, and I was getting a feel for chemistry with the team, and we were bonding.
“You always want to have these games if you can where everybody plays, everybody scores, everybody goes home feeling good”, Kerr said. “Whatever it takes to motivate us at this point, whether it’s just continue what we’ve been doing, searching for that 73, No. 1 seed, whatever it is”.
Warriors center Andrew Bogut participated in the shootaround before Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers and was upgraded to questionable to play.

If the Warriors didn’t go for it, they wouldn’t be the Warriors we’ve watched this entire, incredible, potentially once-in-a-lifetime season.
