Curry named NBA’s West Player of the Month
Curry finished Tuesday’s game with 40 points, 28 of which came in the third quarter when he outscored the entire Hornets roster by seven.

Curry registered another big night and, in this one, he was ultra-efficient from the field, shooting 14-of-18 field goals including 8-of-11 from the three-point area.
“It was special”, he said of the ceremony for his father, who is the franchise’s all-time scoring leader. But Golden State needs just one more win before Carolina plays next.
Commenting on his team’s success, Curry also told reporters that the Warrior’s 20-0 record so far was nothing short of surreal. “It doesn’t even sound right”, he said after yet another lopsided victory. It says a lot about our focus night in and night out. “I feel like I am a better player than I was previous year”. That’s the strength of our team.
The Warriors took command quickly, racing to a 28-13 lead and never looked back. The Warriors are some kind of machine, and at this point, it doesn’t seem likely that they can be stopped any time soon.
Curry’s explosion came over the final 7min 26sec of the third. After the Hornets forced Curry to give up the ball to an open Draymond Green, Green missed the three-pointer.
“When he’s feeling it and shoots the ball, he’s already running to the other end of the court”, Warriors interim coach Luke Walton said.
“It is surprising to me because the league has been around a very long time and nobody has done what we are doing”. “I mean, you don’t expect to make six out of six in the third quarter like that”.
“I hadn’t used that hairstyle since 2009”, Neymar said to Globo. “You try to make him work hard, but I don’t think we’ve seen anybody shoot like him – that’s pretty impressive”. The point guard is 52.4 percent from the field, 94.3 percent from the free throw line and 45.9 percent from three point range.
Guard Nicolas Batum led the Hornets with 17 points. The Warriors also extended their regular season winning streak to 24.
Forget comparing them to past great teams like the Bulls or Lakers. He calls Charlotte his hometown (even though he was born in Akron, Ohio) and played his college basketball just down the road at Davidson College. “We got beat up again on the glass”. The Warriors remain the only undefeated team in the league at 20-0.

The Hornets tried to get back in the game but their only lead was when the score was 9-7.
