Of course, Curry’s individual brilliance on the perimeter has translated into team success for the Warriors, who won their first title in 40 years last season. It was the fifth game (all on the road) in seven days for a team chasing the National Basketball Association record of 72 regular-season victories, set by the Chicago Bulls in 1996-97.

If there’s a three-point record worth owning, Warriors guard Stephen Curry is coming for it.

PHOENIX – Bojan Bogdanovic scored a season-high 24 points to lead Brooklyn over Phoenix in a game between two of the NBA’s worst teams. Another thing is that the officiating today has more rules than back years ago when Jordan played, today the littlest touch to a guard gets you a foul so that leads to coaches not permitting their defense to play tough d on today’s guards.

Kukoc had his third straight game of 20 points or more, and Dennis Rodman celebrated a change in hair color – from rust to bright yellow – with 17 rebounds. He has hit a 3-pointer for the 128th consecutive game, setting an National Basketball Association record.

New Orleans’ Anthony Davis scored 30 points and blocked four shots to lead the Pelicans past Oklahoma City 123-119. Even Dick Vitale was there to see firsthand just how awesome, baby, these Warriors really are.

However, the San Antonio Spurs forward is firmly in the race to be crowned MVP as he has been one of the most consistent players in the National Basketball Association this season and has played an integral role in helping the Spurs establish a 49-9 record, which is the second best in the league behind the Warriors who are 52-5. He sat out the first six minutes of the fourth, added a 3 and a layup down the stretch and also finished with eight assists and seven rebounds.

“I have a hard time seeing how his streak’s ever going to end”, Magic coach Scott Skiles said before the game.

“He had 51; he did what he wanted to do”, said Magic guard Victor Oladipo, who was among the defenders given the futile task of containing Curry. Parker led the Bucks with 22 points, 10 in the fourth quarter. In 2014-15, Golden State ranked No. 2 in three-pointers, No. 1 in three-point percentage and No. 2 in offensive efficiency.

BOSTON – Isaiah Thomas scored 27 points, including eight in the fourth quarter, and Boston beat Milwaukee for its ninth straight home victory. Curry and the Warriors transformed the game and continued to shoot jumpers at a high rate. “It’s not surprising at all”, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said before the game. The circus shot at the end of the third quarter? Andrew Bogut and Draymond Green set their normal screens to free him, but new addition Anderson Varejao also took no time demonstrating that his skill set will mesh with his teammates.
