Steph Curry’s record-breaking season continued Wednesday night as the Golden State Warriors clinched a spot in the West Conference Finals with a 125-121 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Draymond Green chipped in with 13 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for the defending champions who are not resting to face the victor of the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder series. Should the Thunder eliminate the Spurs in Game 6 this morning (Singapore time), the best-of-seven conference finals would begin on Monday night in Oakland.

The Trail Blazers were 16 of 36 on three-pointers.

Two nights after his spectacular game against the Magic, Curry tied an National Basketball Association record as he made 12 three-pointers in a tense 121-118 win over the Thunder. Teammate Klay Thompson is the closest player to Curry’s record, shooting 276 three-pointers this year. They trailed by 10 halfway through the first quarter before he scored his first points, but that triggered an 11-0 run to give the Warriors the lead. This was the case four days after he scored 40 points on opening night.

“It has been a wild three days”, Curry said.

“We have faith in those guys, they’ve carried us the entire season”, Toronto coach Dwane Casey said.

“It could have easily been a seven-game series if the ball had gone this way instead of that way in a couple of the games”. Your best Golden State-Portland live stream option is available via TNT Overtime.

Meanwhile, Curry is only the 11th player in league history to earn back to back MVP awards, joining the likes of James, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.

“He reinvents the game every time he takes the floor”, Silver said.

“It’s going to come back, you hope it’s within the series”. “It’s something I’ll never forget”.

It was DeRozan’s franchise-best 13th 20-point game in the playoffs and his sixth this postseason. Without Curry, the Warriors would probably still be one of the top teams in the Western Conference.
