If ever there was an National Football League game set up as a gimme victory, this was it. The opposing quarterback was the Chicago Bears’ Jay Cutler, who never had won at Lambeau.

The Bears defense held Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a 62.4 passer rating Thursday night, his lowest in 61 career home games.
The highlight for Green Bay turned out to be the return of Favre, whose name and No. 4 was unveiled at halftime with the club’s other retired numbers.

Robbie Gould’s 21-yard field goal in the fourth quarter for Chicago was the only scoring for either team in the second half in a game played dreary conditions. Final notes on Porter, he was targeted 10 times but gave up just two catches for 23 yards.
