The season three plot: “Cat and Vincent are able to focus on their love, finally free from Muirfield, manhunts and beasts, However, that love will be tested as new and more risky threats await”.

A premiere date for the upcoming season four, which is expected to premiere in 2016, is yet to be announced.

Beauty’s third season finale weighed in at a 0.2 rating in adults 18-49 last month. Variety reported Tuesday morning that the network chose to pull the plug on the drama, which stars Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan.

“I truly like it as a summer series”, Pedowitz told reporters at TCA summer press tour in August.

The series created by Sherri Cooper-Landsman and Jennifer Levi is loosely based on Koslow’s 1987 CBS series which starred Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman. “It gives us original programming”. One of our stated goals for the network was to have year round programming. “So I plan to keep it there”.
