“They didn’t judge me on my sing-off, but if anything I’m kind of happy I have control over what I am singing again”.
In response to the critical social media post, Guy reassured the young singer: “I’ve read it mate”. “They can’t twist quotes Jimmy and I warned you the night before, ‘ he continued before telling the 21-year-old ‘let’s chat in person”. Chris and his manager stood up, arguing with producers for hours.
‘I don’t think what I said deserved so much anger but also he has been in the busy more than any of us has and he should know that certain words can be put in a bad light and it makes it look a lot worse than what it really was’. The fledgling singer-songwriter said he gained several thousand followers on Facebook and Instagram but “more importantly, 600 new YouTube fans”.
But will it be enough to save him from tonight’s double elimination?
