The ANC led with a big margin in the newly-planned municipality with 84.64%, while EFF had 8.49% and the DA 0.85%.

Election results started trickling in at 9:30 last night and votes continued to be counted on Thursday morning.

At 6am, the counting for Tshwane had showed the DA leading the ANC 48.63% to 39%, and in Johannesburg the DA had led 45.68% to the ANC’s 39.08%.
