The Orlando Sentinel writes that the father of the boy who was killed by an alligator at a Disney resort in Florida reported a second gator present at the attack.

His son, Lane Graves, was dragged into a lagoon at the Grand Floridian Resort last month.
The officer told Graves that he needed stitches and antibiotics because he cuts to his body from the gator’s teeth. Wellons said he eventually persuaded Graves to get medical treatment, promising he could return afterward.
Despite trappers killing and dissecting five alligators attempting to redeem at least a part of the body- it had, fortunately, been located beneath the water, intact within 24 hours of the search beginning.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Angelo Nieves told the Orlando Sentinel Sunday that during initial interviews, a witness also said “he saw a second gator attack the father” as he was fighting with the first one that had his son.
The park has since put up fences and signs making it clear there are both alligators and snakes in the area.
Alligator attacks are relatively rare, with just nine recorded unprovoked attacks reported by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in the year of 2015 throughout the state.
Her boy can be seen playing on the beach right near the same spot where the gators attacked the Graves family in the lagoon.
Walt Disney World recently placed “No Fishing” signs on a number of properties; fishing at Disney World has now been limited to special trips.

Disney now has beaches at eight hotels as well as at the Fort Wilderness campground. He said the family kept showing rescuers pictures of the boy. All of the Disney World resorts and marinas have been reopened after being closed immediately following the tragedy.
