Daesh’s English-language Dabiq magazine posted photos of two bodies that were claimed to be of Chinese hostage Fan Jinghui and Norwegian Ole-Johan Grimsgaard-Ofstad.

Hong said China was “greatly shocked” by the killing, and the Chinese government would “do all it can to bring the killers to justice”.
China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Thursday that its citizen Fan Jinghui had been killed by the Islamic State (IS).
The Norwegian Foreign Ministry declined to comment.
In September edition, featuring the two men, IS published an “advertisement” that read they were “for sale”.
Xi also said he had sent his condolences to Fan’s family in a statement issued in Manila, where he is attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.
Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg told a press conference that the government can not confirm the killing, but said “we have no reasons to doubt it”.
“We condemn the killing”, Solberg said, adding the government was still seeking further verification.
The executions by Islamic State show the increasingly global impact of violence by the group and its affiliates.
The Chinese foreign ministry said in a separate statement that Beijing “will definitely hold the perpetrators accountable”.
The state-run Beijing News said Fan was probably a former advertising executive who had once lived in a western suburb of Beijing, but that his company shut down in 2003.
