I honestly believe that the Cowboys had too much of a conservative game plan for Prescott. In that 365-day span, the University of Alabama has won three games in Dallas.

Fortunately for the Giants they forced Dallas to call all their time outs on their final possession and time ran out on Dallas.
The Giants beat the Cowboys in a season opener for the first time. Dak Prescott showed that the future is bright for the Cowboys despite losing another game at home on Sunday. That would come back to haunt them as the Giants went on to win by just one point.
Dallas got the ball with around 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter up six points in position to put the game out of reach.

Mike Nugent drilled a 47-yard field goal with 54 seconds left to send Cincinnati past the New York Jets, 23-22. Meanwhile the defense confised rookie QB Dak Prescott enough that Dallas had to settle for four field goals as the Dallas offense stalled. It would have given the Cowboys about 7 seconds to either run one more play to get more yards, or they could have given Bailey a chance for a field goal from about 60-yards away.
Matt Prater atoned for a missed extra point in the fourth quarter by hitting a go-ahead, 43-yard field goal with eight seconds left to push Detroit past in 39-35. Alfred Morris was able to collect 35 yards on only seven carries as he did a better job of allowing the blocks to set up in front of him.
Dallas took the lead back on the opening drive of the second half thanks to an interception by Brandon Carr off of Manning at the NY 35. Prescott went 10-12 for 139 yards and a touchdown in one half of play. Manning threw an early pick and their 13-9 halftime lead fell to a 19-13 deficit late in the fourth.
Linebacker Sean Lee said Williams has made big plays for the Cowboys in the past, and he’ll make them in the future.
In week one of the National Football League regular season Dak made his first real start against none other than Eli Manning and the New York Gaints. “We’re going to look at the film, we’ll have some things to clean up”, said McAdoo of Sunday’s victory.

WHERE’S DEZ: Prescott looked for star receiver Dez Bryant a few times, but the 2014 All-Pro had just one catch for 8 yards on Prescott’s first pass. Bryant had another catch-that-wasn’t moment similar to the Green Bay playoff game in 2014 on what was originally ruled a 24-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
