Yes there will probably be one or more further attempts for Tony Romo to return to the field, but from what I saw yesterday the Cowboys should just move on into the future and let Prescott stay and play as the starter and future of the storied franchise.
He just made an incredibly very bad decision. It could have been easy to quit on games previous year, but the Cowboys didn’t.
And they were. McAdoo obviously wants more turnovers on defense and also less penalties from his team, but those are always the complaints from any head coach.
That was a sentiment in the locker room Sunday evening after the win. “There are a lot of things we have to clean up, but it was nice to get a road win”.
Dak Prescott showed that the future is bright for the Cowboys despite losing another game at home on Sunday.
“I think we just took one step in a season of trying to maximize our potential”, right tackle Marshall Newhouse said. “I’ll put the ball in a better place”. That is a good sign for the team moving forward.
