‘Dakburger’ will make debut along Cowboys rookie QB Dak Prescott

The burger will consist of Applewood-smoked bacon strips, hickory barbecue sauce, cheddar cheese and red onions on a poppy-seed bun, The Dallas Morning News reported. The Vikings lost starter Teddy Bridgewater to a gruesome knee injury that will keep him out the entire season, possibly longer.

Romo is out six to 10 weeks with his injury.

Dak Prescott has made Cowboys fans feel as if they have something to look forward to. “But I don’t think that creates any anxiety”.

Given Dak Prescott’s strong start in the Dallas Cowboys’ preseason, some are wondering what will happen if Prescott is on a winning streak when Tony Romo is healthy.

Back in Dallas, Executive Vice President Stephen Jones revealed that they are serious in signing free agent QB, Austin Davis.

The failures past year were the result of spotty play from backups Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel and a defense that finished last in the National Football League in takeaways and turnover margin. Tony Romo’s broken back thrust fourth-round quarterback Dak Prescott into duty. Garrett wouldn’t fully speculate on Romo’s return or the projected layover of at least six weeks. But right now they’re not going to commit themselves to a strict timetable because, as we’ve seen before, Romo has returned quicker than expected. In three games, Prescott has completed 39 of 50 attempts for 454 yards and five touchdowns. Since Romo became the Cowboys’ starting quarterback in 2006, the Cowboys are 10-23 when he can’t play, having suffered through the bad play of greats like Brooks Bollinger, Jon Kitna, Kyle Orton and past year, Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassell.

You believe, too, that Romo is a certain Hall of Famer, that he’s really the Easter Bunny, and that the best of Tony is still ahead.

Despite Romo’s recent injury history, including twice breaking his collarbone last season, Jones insists the team is not concerned about his durability.

I understand hesitation after his first showing, having only seen him for a very small sample size of 12 pass attempts.

Had the prognosis been more optimistic, Dallas could have kept Romo on the active roster in the hopes he heals quickly.

The Cowboys have yet to rule Romo out for their regular season opener on September 11th. “Nothing really changes. I just gotta continue to do that and make sure I don’t slack up or be lazy and just stay focused”.

“I can’t imagine a scenario where Tony’s not our quarterback when he’s ready”, Jones said.
