Dallas authorities shoot guy who charged policeman at airport

According to the NBC station in Dallas KXAS, one person was taken to the Parkland hospital after a shooting at Dallas Love Field Friday afternoon.

He keeps throwing rocks until Love Field’s Dallas police arrive.

A video posted to Instagram bye flashy films shows a man with a gun in the baggage claim area. Surveillance footage showed Diamond throw rocks at his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle after she was dropping him off at the airport.

The man had damaged the woman’s auto with rocks.

The officer is being placed on administrative leave as the investigation unfolds.

Dallas authorities in a composed description of the event said the suspect, whom they determined as Shawn Diamond, 29, the father of the lady’s children, had according to witnesses informed the officer, “You’re going to need to shoot me”.

After the sound of gunshots, a male voice can be heard shouting, “Stay down, stay down!”

She says the man was yelling at the officer, “basically saying ‘shoot me, shoot me, I dare you, ‘ something to that effect”.

Later Friday, Dallas police released surveillance video footage of the incident, which appears to show two police officers issuing commands to the suspect – who is seen moving toward one of the officers before he is shot and falls to the ground.

Police are responding to the incident said to be near the baggage claim area. Beattie said the officer who fired the shots is a Dallas police veteran, but he would not identify him. In all, 10 flights inbound to Love Field were temporarily diverted and 12 flights departing from Love Field were cancelled. Love Field, Chicago Midway, and Houston Hobby – all secondary airports where Southwest controls more than 90 percent of the passenger traffic – are three of the five USA airports that have had the largest average fare increases over the last 14 years, Delta’s filing claims. “I didn’t know what was happening with them”, said their grandmother.
