Dallas Cowboys bus involved in crash that killed 4 in Arizona

“An accident involving loss of life is tragic”.
Three females and one male were killed in the accident, said Quentin Mehr, spokesman for the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is expressing sorrow about an Arizona highway accident that left four people dead when their van collided with a bus carrying team employees.
Dallas Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple said the bus had no players, only staff members on board. The van and motor coach collided in the intersection causing both vehicles to run off the road.
A bus carrying Dallas Cowboys staffers but no players and a van collided Sunday on an Arizona highway, killing four people in the van, authorities said.
The bus was on its way to a Gameworks restaurant in Las Vegas, where organization members were to meet fans and sign autographs as part of a multi-state tour, according to a report on the team’s website.
Spagnola, Walraven and Naylor were transported by another bus to Oxnard, where they arrived on Monday.
Additional information on the crash about 30 miles (48 kilometers) north of Kingman was not immediately available.
The tour bus involved is a Dallas Cowboys bus. The team left Sunday morning for Las Vegas, according to Mickey Spagnola, a DallasCowboys.com columnist who is traveling with the tour.

The bus was on its way to a Cowboys event with 50 to 75 fans set for the afternoon, said Charles Cooper, manager of GameWorks entertainment center in Vegas.
