Before the knee injury to Orlando Scandrick put a damper on the Dallas Cowboys’ practice, the defense was having one of its best days of training camp.

The Dallas Morning News reported that Scandrick’s knee buckled while the tried to tackle Lucky Whitehead, with the rookie wide receiver falling on Scandrick’s leg. Tuesday night, Cowboys secondary coach Jerome Henderson told reporters that Scandrick told him he knew he had torn his ACL.
Scandrick is a player the Cowboys really can’t afford to lose with health as their main priority heading into the upcoming season as previously mentioned.
Cornerback Byron Jones, who the team drafted in the first round this year, may find himself getting pressed into duty to a greater degree than anticipated. “I hope that’s not the case”. Safety J.J. Wilcox had a hard time returning to practice. Quarterback Tony Romo also acknowledged the fear of an ACL tear, but sent prayers out to Scandrick. “Your (sic) the best bud”.

Vick spent 2014 with the New York Jets, engineering an upset over the Steelers on November. 9 by throwing for two touchdowns in a 20-13 victory, his lone triumph during an otherwise forgettable season.
