Dallas Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliott visits marijuana shop while in Seattle

TMZ posted a video of someone they said was Elliott browsing (but not buying) at Herban Legends, a marijuana dispensary near Seattle, just hours before the game. “But it’s not good”. He apparently didn’t make any purchases, which is a good thing because marijuana, despite being legal in the state of Washington, is still on the list of substances banned by the NFL. “But he added that being sighted at a place that sells a substance banned by the National Football League was “(just) not good,” repeating those words three times to underscore the perceived seriousness of it all.

“Again, that’s a part of just really getting the big picture here”. I heard the report, and I would know how he is. “And he needs to look at that”.

He is widely expected to be in the running for offensive rookie of the year honors this season and made an impressive debut against Seattle on Thursday, rushing for 48 yards from seven carries in the first quarter.

Dallas selected Elliott, a former standout at Ohio State, with the fourth overall pick in April’s draft. She told police that she had pain in her right wrist and a red mark but declined medical treatment, according to the report.

Elliott, who has denied the claims, has not been arrested or charged with a crime and has yet to be interviewed.
