Per sources, Romo is expected to be sidelined 6 to 10 weeks, though coach Jason Garrett refused to put a timetable on his return.

Prescott, a fourth-round pick in April’s draft, has been extremely impressive thus far in the preseason going 39-50 with five touchdowns and no interceptions. Finally, last season Romo twice broke his collarbone and played in only four games. The team will now rely on rookie QB Dak Prescott.
