Four people were killed when a Dallas cowboy bus collided with a van Sunday on an Arizona highway, officials said.

Four Cowboys staff members – including a writer, a team mascot, a videographer and the bus driver – suffered only minor injuries, according to ABC Dallas affiliate, WFAA-TV. A spokesman for the Arizona Department of Public Safety told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram the crash still is under investigation but is not believed to be Tyler’s fault, adding that the van was making a left turn when the crash occurred. Dalrymple said the bus was only carrying members of the franchise’s staff but would not say how many. There were no Cowboys players on board. Spagnola has been documenting the annual bus tour on the Cowboys’ website.

It was scheduled to make a stop at GameWorks in Las Vegas at 3 p.m. local time, Spagnola tweeted shortly before the accident. The crash led to the shutdown of at least one lane of the highway which is the main route between Las Vegas and Phoenix. This was going to be a pit stop for the tour bus, to meet and greet its Las Vegas fans, before it headed to California on Monday for their appearance in West Hollywood. The event was subsequently canceled.

No one died in the bus however 4 were killed in the van
