Dallas Police Chief Reveals Shooter Had ‘Other Plans’ To ‘Make Us Pay’
Police now believe he had been planning something big long beforehand, and that the two black deaths last week were a trigger that prompted him to act, Dallas police chief David Brown told CNN on Sunday.

“Some of the questions we may never know the answer to”, Brown said. “My brain is fried”.
Two civilians were also wounded in the ambush. State officials noted that the Justice Department has taken over the investigation.
“They are very grateful for the police”, Lawrence Jones from TheBlaze said during an interview on MSNBC Tuesday.
Thousands of protesters have flooded the streets of major cities across the United States to decry the deaths of two African-American men at the hands of police.
Obama will convene a meeting at the White House the following day to bring together all sides of the issue, including law enforcement, activists and civil rights leaders. He says the 25-year-old Army veteran wrote the letters “RB”, and that investigators are looking through things found in his suburban Dallas home to try to figure out what he may have meant by that.
By Monday evening, protesters were marching again in several large American cities, including Chicago, Sacramento, and Atlanta, where news footage showed a number of protesters being arrested after street demonstrations north of downtown.
Michael Bouchard, the sheriff of Oakland County, Michigan, said he considered doing so during a 2012 standoff in which a man killed a police officer before barricading himself inside a building.
The police chief, who has held the position since 2010, originally applied to be an officer while he was in college, watching the crack epidemic destroy his hometown. I think the reasons are obvious. Five officers were fatally shot just a few blocks from where President John F. Kennedy was slain in 1963.
Protests have rocked the north Texas city since suspected sniper Micah Johnson gunned down five officers and wounded nine others at an anti-police brutality rally Thursday.
He then spoke of the challenges for police across the country, who he said are facing increasing pressure from all sides, and revealed that he was considering mandating that all of his force seek counseling in coming months.
“Become a part of the solution”, he said. Widespread protests are on in USA after the incident, which is also the reason stated behind killing of white Dallas policemen. “We’ll put you in your neighborhood and we will help you resolve some of the problems you’re protesting about”.
He said the department has misspoke for days and that Johnson died inside El Centro Community College.
These robots are routinely used to get a closer look at suspicious devices in a way that doesn’t endanger officers and to begin communications with armed suspects.
In February 2011, he swiftly fired and criminally charged another officer in after that cop was caught on camera kicking and using pepper spray on a handcuffed person.
Brown said he and his family received death threats nearly immediately after the Thursday night attack, which left five officers dead nine others injured.

Meanwhile, Johnson’s parents said they are surprised by his violent rampage and noted he returned from an Army deployment to Afghanistan a changed man. She and Johnson’s father, James, aren’t sure exactly what happened, but “the military was not what Micah thought it would be”, Delphine says. “He was very disappointed”.
