Dallas Police HQ Put on Lockdown for “Serious Threat” Saturday
A reporter on scene said police were on high alert and there was a threat to shoot up Dallas PD headquarters. A SWAT team is now on the scene and circling the perimeter.

The threat comes nearly two days after five police officers were shot and killed during a protest in Dallas Thursday night.
Philando Castile’s mother and two of his uncles are condemning a shooting in Dallas that left five police officers dead and wounded several more. Senior officers met at police headquarters earlier in the afternoon to discuss the ongoing investigation into the shootings, as detectives tried to determine whether gunman Micah Johnson had acted alone or had co-conspirators.
Dallas Police spokesman Sr Cpl Monica Cordova said security around the area had been tightened but called the measures precautionary.
It was unclear what Johnson meant when he referred to the protest movement – whether he was angry at it for being too peaceful or simply angry at the controversial police shootings that had sparked it.
A man in black was spotted running into the police carpark building and officers have been seen running around nearby with guns drawn. Police emphasized that, contrary to some media reports, no shots have been fired.
Police closed down sections of streets near headquarters, and moved everyone back.
Sources told FOX 4 that authorities received a threat about people coming in from Houston with intent to hurt officers.

But police were clearly taking no chances, especially in light of the deadly assault two days in earlier in downtown Dallas.
