A Dallas-area hotel worker has been charged with killing a baby she gave birth to in an employee locker-room toilet by allowing it to drown, police said on Wednesday.

According to police, paramedics rushed to the scene once they found out about the birth, and tried to give the child CPR before realizing there was no hope.

Cops are waiting for the results of the newborn’s autopsy, and stressed that the investigation is still active.

He said Granado-Reyes wasn’t feeling well Sunday morning while getting ready for work and failed to appear at the 9 a.m. employee meeting.

Huber says he often saw Granados-Reyes around the hotel and described her as a “sweet young lady, quiet, very unassuming”.
