Dana White Doesn’t Plan on Talking to Jon Jones
After Jon Jones’ doping violation ahead of UFC 200, Daniel Cormier will remain on Saturday’s card and will fight former middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

Here is the exact heartbreaking moment that Daniel Cormier learns that Jon Jones won’t be able to fight because of a positive PED test..
Silva, 42, who typically fights at 185lbs, has fought just twice at 205lbs, but holds a 100% record having sealed first round knockouts against Forrest Griffin in August 2009 and Stephan Bonnar in October 2012.
Of course, while Silva is arguably the best to ever do it, the 41-year-old has just one win (which was ruled a no contest) in his last four fights. Good deeds and bad vibes, the greatest light heavyweight of all time has always struggled to connect with fans, and has proven time and again to be a danger to himself and those around him.
TMZ Sports broke the news that Anderson Silva has agreed to fill Jones’ spot and will fight Cormier in a non-title three-round light heavyweight bout in Las Vegas on Saturday.
The fight will take place at 205 pounds and will be a three-round, non-title fight.
A late scratch from UFC 198 in May due to abdominal pain, Silva subsequently had his gall bladder removed.
White also doesn’t think too highly of the people surrounding Jones, who apparently aren’t keeping a watchful eye on every supplement he’s taking and ensuring that he’s being taken care of ahead of every fight. “I’m here to challenge myself, and I think that I haven’t trained in a few months, but I think that I’m in good condition to go in there and put on a good fight”. Mousasi is already scheduled to fight on the card, and White said the promotion has other plans for Henderson.
The heavyweight fight between American Brock Lesnar and New Zealander Mark Hunt will now be the main event.

Despite his rigid stance toward Jones, White believes the pound-for-pound top fighter in the sport when he says he didn’t knowingly take a banned substance.
