Gall was a featured contestant on the YouTube series Dana White: Looking For A Fight, which was partially being used as a vehicle to find CM Punk an opponent.

Ask and ye shall receive… maybe.

“I’m bringing Mickey Gall in and he’s going to fight a kid named Michael Jackson”.

It looks like Mickey Gall may get his chance at CM Punk after all.

If he wins his fight next month, Gall would be likely be cleared and have time to hold a camp for a bout in the summer. He has been training for his UFC debut since late 2014, when he announced he had signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC.

White also spoke with OTR host Michael Landsberg about a number of other topics, including the recent controversy surrounding Floyd Mayweather and his comments about Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey, and racism in sports. That opponent could be Mickey Gall if he passes UFC President Dana White’s test.

Mickey Gall’s callout of Phil “CM Punk” Brooks has landed him in the UFC, and put him in position to earn the fight he wants.

EA Sports UFC 2 is due to land on March 15.

In an interview with TSN, White confirmed that if Gall improves to 2-0, he’ll face Punk. Likes its precursor it’s much more a sim than an arcade versus fighter, and that means thinks like physics make fans get a bit hot and bothered. The win was the first of Gall’s professional career, so in terms of experience, both he and CM Punk are on the same level, even though Punk is over ten years older than him. He most recently suffered a third-round knockout to Sergio Perez in November.
