Dana White: Sage Northcutt’s team contacted UFC about Mickey Gall fight
CM Punk made his long awaited UFC debut at UFC 203 in Cleveland, Ohio last night almost two years after signing for the MMA promotion.

Punk, also known as Phil Brooks, signed with the UFC in 2014 after leaving the wrestling industry and WWE behind.
Meanwhile, Punk’s conqueror, Mickey Gall, is seen as one of the rising stars of UFC.
“He probably shouldn’t have his next fight in the UFC”, White replid.
Believe it or not, many wrestlers in the WWE didn’t take kindly to being called “pussies” the first several times and responded on Twitter, SportsCenter, and at a promotional event to the insults being hurled their way by the gritty Irish fighter. If we ever do, though, we’re thinking Conor might not be so nice to his fellow fighter!
However, once the fight started, it was Mickey Gall all the way.

“In life, you go big or you go home”, Punk said following his loss.
While it would be easy for Punk to move on from MMA after such a lopsided loss, he doubled down on a pre-fight claim that he is in the sport for the long haul. Punk might be 37 years of age to Gall’s 24, but Gall argued he’s the veteran of the two.
“I use the correlation of you know how to drive an automatic auto and now you’re learning how to drive a stick shift”, Punk said in comparing the athletic adjustment he’s made. I became friends with him. “I think that boy is corny”.
The heavyweight champion managed to escape the hold and quickly asserted his dominance on the fight, stunning Overeem with powerful punch before delivering four devastating right-hand punches to clinch victory with 33 seconds left in the round. “It was the second best night of my life behind my wedding night”. He acknowledged that he may be cut from the UFC altogether after his performance, but was firm in his desire to continue fighting, saying “I definitely want to keep going, I gotta get back on the bike and ride”.
