“Criminal prosecution is appropriate when debtors corrupt the bankruptcy process through deceit and lies before the court”, said U.S. Attorney Hickton, according to WTAE action news in Miller’s native Pittsburg. She’s also accused of hiding other income while restructuring her debt.

The star of the reality-TV show “Dance Moms” has been indicted in Pittsburgh on charges of concealing her income from her performances on the show in 2012 and 2013.

The indictment claims she also “instructed others to hide certain income from the bankruptcy court and Trustee”. Her bankruptcy was discharged in December 2013, record show.

Any court dates for legal proceedings related to this indictment have yet to be announced; Abby Lee Miller has yet to comment on the indictment either.
