The victor of the twenty-second season of Dancing With the Stars has been revealed and it was a great season full of some wonderful celeb dancers.

“DWTS” judge Carrie Ann Inaba delivered her remarks to DiMarco after his final dance with pro partner Peta Murgatroyd in sign language. “I’ve been on this show now 18 seasons in a row, and I’m so proud of this girl for how far she’s come”, a tearful Ballas said.

With a near DWTS victory and a possible burgeoning career in Hollywood on the horizon, it will be interesting to see when (or if) she’ll have time to get back to mixed martial arts. Mark won the ABC reality dancing competition twice, but his best run as of recently was Season 19 when he finished in second place with Sadie Robertson. You can be a meteorologist who can dance!

“It’s been unbelievable. I’m just so thankful that I got to have this opportunity”. And what I hope someone can take away from this is that you can be more than one thing. During rehearsals last week, Zee, a new mother, injured her pelvis but was able to perform all her routines despite feeling pain.

What the judges say: Len noted her constant improvement; Carrie Ann called her a handsome dancer. Head judge Len Goodman said it was an “improvement” from their dance of Week 3 and he “loved it”.

The three each had to perform a third routine Tuesday night — the 24-hour fusion challenge dance, in which they fused two contrasting styles of dance into one routine with only a day of preparation. Although it wasn’t flawless like they hoped, the couple scored a decent 28/30.

“Thank you for showing us your lovely heart when you dance”- Inaba. This is Murgatroyd’s second victory on the show, previously winning in season 14 with Donald Driver.

Ginger Zee: Zee missed a part of the choreography in her Argentine tango/foxtrot with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, but she recovered quickly and the three judges commended her for keeping her composure.

Paige and Mark topped the leaderboard with a 29 for the salsa and 30 for freestyle, for a total of 59. The couple ended up getting all 10s for a ideal score of 30 out of 30.
