‘Dancing With the Stars’ enlists Ryan Lochte, Amber Rose and … Rick Perry
His pro dance partner is: Cheryl Burke. Will the former Texas governor’s spin on the ABC show bring the mirror-ball trophy to the Lone Star State, or will he say adios quicker than you can say “Paso Doble”? In a failed 2012 bid for the presidency, Perry became a national laughingstock when he forgot one of the three federal agencies he passionately vowed to abolish should he become president.

Perry joins other celebrities in the “DWTS” ballroom including Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, “Brady Bunch” star Maureen McCormick, recording artists Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds,” Jana Kramer and Vanilla Ice, Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, NFL wide receiver Calvin Johnson, Jr., actress Marilu Henner, race auto driver James Hinchcliffe, and “Little Women: “LA” star Terra Jole.
So, clearly it’s not Simone Biles, but her team mate Laurie Hernandez who’ll be joining the cast of S23.
Brazilian police said in reality, the group destroyed a service station bathroom and urinated in public, and have recommended that Lochte be charged with falsely reporting a crime. Lochte says he has offered to reimburse fellow swimmer James Feigen for a almost $11,000 fine Feigen paid to resolve legal issues and leave the country.
The controversial American swimmer, asked point-blank if he intends to go back to Brazil, would only say his lawyers are working on the case. He also insisted that it was time to move on and that “everyone (is) blowing this way out of proportion”.
The news was made official on Tuesday, when Lochte and other cast members were unveiled on ABC’s Good Morning America. “Derek may have a rivalry with me, but I don’t have one”, Chmerkovskiy, 36, told Us.
Rose, born Amber Levonchuck, gained notoriety by starring in music videos for Nicki Minaj, Fabolous, and Wiz Khalifa, noted Hollywood Life.com. “Everyone has got to be sick and exhausted about hearing about this”, he said. “I just want to move forward”, added Lochte, his silver-dyed hair now returned to a more natural brown.
Perry tweeted Tuesday that he will appear on season 23 of “Dancing with the Stars” to help veterans, though he didn’t elaborate on how.
The former governor, 66, was widely lampooned as he prepared to make a second run for the White House previous year when he starting donning a new pair of spectacles that critics said were created to make him look intelligent.

It remains to be seen if his dancing shoes will serve him better than his fancy eyewear.
