“Season 22 is one I’ll never forget. the amount of pure joy that I had this season because I got to spend everyday working with you is indescribable”.
The actor/model and his professional partner Peta Murgatroyd performed a stunning freestyle routine to Disturbed’s Sounds of Silence that left judges gobsmacked.

Towards the end of the finale night, Zee and Chmerkovskiy landed in third place. Every finalist couple put forth the best performances of the season, making it really hard for judges to pick a victor. “This whole thing has been so incredible, and [DiMarco] – I owe everything to him”.
DiMarco trailed VanZant, who was in first, and Zee after Part 1 of the finale on Monday, but rallied to take home the mirror ball trophy.
“I said, ‘Thank you for showing us your handsome heart when you dance, ‘” Carrie Ann revealed before the judges awarded the team with a ideal score. However, she fought through the pain and managed to pull out two excellent performances that earned her and Chmerkovskiy a combined score of 58 out of 60.
It was a close call between Van Zant and DiMarco, who both ended their last dances with flawless scores.
She added, “It happens to everybody, but with social media I feel like it can be even worse now”.
“It was really very touching and, you know, she actually took the time to learn sign language and we don’t really see that often in this world”, DiMarco told Good Morning America about Inaba’s gesture.
The deaf star and the victor of America’s Next Top Model gave wonderful and emotional performances all across the season.
