Tamar Braxton, as most fans had already heard by Monday night’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars”, dropped out of the contest for health reasons shortly after her trip last week to the ER.

Tonight on the Semifinals of Dancing With The Stars American Hero Alek Skarlatos and his professional dancing partner Lindsay Arnold performed a Waltz to “America The Beautiful”. Frontrunners Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough will showcase their charm in a salsa set to Sia’s “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile”, while Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson pay tribute to One Direction with a contemporary dance to “Drag Me Down”. In this week’s blog for HollywoodLife.com, Sharna reveals that it was really an emotional and intense week for Nick – and he was actually really rattled! It was an absolute honor to learn and dance with you both.
Alek and Lindsay vs. Carlos and Witney are up first.
Each star will perform a dance with their partner, a trio dance and dance battle. Bruno says it was all straight dancing and goes on a bit about Tarzan and Cirque du Soleil.
Julianne: It was raining happiness, but she wanted more down and dirty.
Carlos PenaVega looks tan and super toned while exiting the Dancing With the Stars studio after rehearsals on Sunday night (November 15) in Hollywood.
Hello and welcome to Dancing With The Stars on ABC. This journey hasn’t been easy for you, along the way we have over come so many obstacles and faced fears together. It was so fun to see how his brothers and dad support him, and he was very open about the estranged relationship he has with his mom.
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. It didn’t even matter that Bindi won all three votes in their samba dance-off. I feel this is going to be the one for him. But I opened up and allowed everyone to see who I am, which is a loving person. Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess rocked a Tango for a less than stellar 24 score to close out the regular couples dances. This “totally compelling and intriguing work of genius” (according to Bruno) had Bindi breathing life into electric lanterns, swinging a rope around her own neck, and conveying unique lyrical expressions in a wire frame box, such as “Death to Derek” and “Get me out of this box!”
The trio dances were led by Bindi with Derek and Mark.
As we mentioned, all four couples will be back in the ballroom when the finals begin on Monday. “I don’t think it’s sunk in yet that we got a flawless score!” exclaimed Lindsay. Alek and Lindsay with Emma Slater danced an Argentine Tango that got them a really good 27 score. After the performance finished, Bindi and Derek were chosen winners by all three arbiters, including Bruno Tonioli, Julianne Hough, and Carrie Ann Inaba. Carrie Ann picked on their sync, or lack thereof, in a few sections.
Peta Murgatroyd is back from an injury to dance with Nick and Sharna.

For their last dance of the evening, Carlos and Witney danced the Charleston with Karina Smirnoff.
