Daniel Craig Gets Staggering £150m For James Bond Return
According to a source at Radar, Sony are prepared to offer Craig, 48, a massive $150 million contract to see out two further 007 movies, even though he’s given strong indication that he’s done with playing the lothario spy. The fact that it’s nearly a year since Spectre and Craig’s comments about wanting to slit his wrists over playing 007 again, and yet we’ve not heard anything concrete about him leaving, nor any movement beyond changing bookies odds on who’ll replace him, points towards something major going on behind-the-scenes.

“Everyone knows how much executives adore him, and the idea of losing him at such a crucial time in the franchise isn’t an option as far as all the studio honchos are concerned”, the source said.
The short list of thesps said to be possible successors include Idris Elba (he’s said he’s too old), Michael Fassbender (he wants to move behind the camera) and one of the heroes of The Hobbit, Luke Evans.
Daniel Craig is the favourite to star as James Bond in the next 007 film despite previous reports that he was “done” with the franchise.
As most fans can recall, rumors about a new James Bond actor emerged after Craig announced that he would rather slash his wrists than do another Bond movie.
The actor has since claimed that he reserved “the right to change my mind” about quitting as Bond.
Radar Online reported that Sony offered the British actor the large sum in a bid to secure him for two more films.
