Daniel Craig in Talks for Halle Berry’s L.A. Riots Movie ‘Kings’
Set against the backdrop of the Rodney King riots, the film will center on Craig’s Ollie, a white man who falls for a working-class mother played by Halle Berry.

The two characters try and track down the kids from the worst of the violence when the riots break out in the city. However, as he approaches what is apparently the twilight of his Bond tenure, it appears that Craig is picking projects that put him in unlikely situations.
According to Deadline, this is actually something of a passion project for Erguven – she pitched the idea back in 2011, but Mustang came together first, and earned an Oscar nomination.
English actor Daniel Craig is in early negotiations to star opposite Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry in an upcoming independent drama, “Kings”.
