“Yes a long time ago – I was too young at the time”, says Bellucci. The 47-year-old actor, whom critics feel has grown bored with the famed persona, told the publication his role models were those who possessed a “moral compass” rather than his character.

Along the way he faces his chilling nemesis, who wears a collarless Nehru jacket like in classic Bonds past but has a data-driven domination mission with a contemporary ring to it. “So, the Bond of the moment is the only Bond we think about and of”.

Ralph Fiennes, who plays Gareth Mallory, the head of MI6 better-known by his code name M, said about the film: “It’s a family operation that’s what it is. Four or five I hope”.

Speaking on the red carpet in London, Daniel Craig, 47, said: “I’m very excited and I can’t wait for people to see the movie”.

Trailers have shown action- packed scenes as 007 uncovers the shady organisation named Spectre (Special Executive for Counter- Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion) and its dark link to villain Franz Oberhauser, played by Oscar victor Christoph Waltz. “I just play a part and I was thrilled that they entrusted with it but the rest is work”. “I’m glad this is a tiny intimate celebration tonight”.

Kate looked absolutely gorgeous in a gown designed by Jenny Packham, with her glamorous hairdo.

While Daniel Craig lined up on the red carpet with his fictional Bond girls, Léa Seydoux and Monica Bellucci, it seems his real leading lady in life could barely keep her hands off him.

Social media was buzzing as millions around the world took in the latest fashion statement from the Duchess, with one user on Twitter proclaiming her a “Bond woman”.
