After a stunning $6.4 million opening night in the United Kingdom on Monday night, Spectre is now outpacing its record-breaking predecessor Skyfall at the United Kingdom box office.

Craig told Sky News he was “very proud” of the movie and felt the team had “done the best we could”. “I’ve always loved the films and the Bond books so I feel a childish delight to be in them”, said Fiennes.

She said: “I don’t think so sadly”.

Craig’s been a total champ about fielding fan vets for the role, and in fact, he thinks one epic boy-bander who’s always been interested in filling Bond’s shoes might just be “fabulous” for the role. Asked about working alongside the actor, who plays Bond for a fourth time in Spectre, Italian-born Monica said: “Daniel is great”.

The Sherlock star added: “The storyline in this movie is about surveillance and how we’re watched constantly. There’s a lot of prescient subject matter in the recent Bond films”.

Fifteen minutes after the splashy royal premiere of “Spectre” in London on Monday, 647 United Kingdom theaters got first dibs of the movie, and it was a huge success.

“Mendes said he was delighted that the public were also getting to see the film”. Earlier this month, he told Time Out London, “I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists….All I want to do is move on”.

They were cheered by hundreds of fans who lined behind barriers and waved from balconies adjacent to the Royal Albert Hall.

But that doesn’t mean Eve Moneypenny has forgotten her secret agent skills… she may be on desk duty in Spectre, but Moneypenny showed she still knows how to kick a few booty in the quite epic 60-second movie for Sony Xperia Z5’s Made For Bond advertising campaign.

Prince William, wife Kate and Prince Harry were also at the royal premiere, where they met the stars and film-makers.
