Daniel Craig on James Bond replacement – ‘I really don’t care’

DANIEL Craig will quickly become a hard interview subject if you ask him to perform.

When that failed to satisfy her, he went with her suggestion, yes, James Bond was becoming shy.

He said: “I think it’s unlikely because I really feel like this is a complete pair of movies and I’m really happy I did this one but it was really hard work to begin with”.

The interview abruptly ended and the show cut back to its presenters, who appeared unprepared as they sat slumped on the couch. He was also joined by co-star Christophz Waltz, 59, who plays Bond’s nemesis, Franz Oberhauser.

Critics were shown Spectre on Wednesday ahead of its release next week.

In Spectre we get a bit more of a glimpse into Bond’s life, as we see inside his house, with creating the correct look something Daniel himself was even involved in. The presenters laughed an commented about the weird poting question and Phillip then said ‘We rushed that interview over and edited that quickly, I’m sure we would have taken out the pouting stuff if we had more time’.

For “Spectre”, Craig told Entertainment Weekly that they have “squared a few holes” and made “a conscious decision to wrap up some loose ends”.

Craig also admitted that he doesn’t “give a f**k” as to who would play Bond next and that if he were to resurrect his character, it would only be for the money. Because it turns out that he’s the most feminist Bond ever.

Spectre opens in United Kingdom cinemas on October 26 – before landing in the U.S. on November 6. We’re talking about Monica Bellucci, for heaven’s sake. “But let’s not forget that he’s actually a misogynist”.

But the most excruciating part of the interview came when she asked him to recreate his trademark pout. He would have nothing to say to a reader of the Internet about whether or not she should, say, upgrade to the 6 Plus or spring for a new espresso maker or get bangs. When someone like that wants to be a Bond girl, you just count yourself lucky!’ “A lot of women are drawn to him chiefly because he embodies a certain kind of danger and never sticks around for too long”.
