Worldwide, the film has earned a few $300 million, with industry experts saying it needs to make $650 million to break even. As Bond becomes closer to discovering the truth about SPECTRE, he builds a romantic relationship with the daughter of an assassin and former nemesis, which leads him to the identity of the enemy behind all of his llife’s turmoil. I bet if he brought the bad guys to Starbucks and bought them a jazz CD and a travel mug, the conflict would be resolved five minutes into the movie.

Daniel Craig plays Bond in Spectre, but it was Pierce Brosnan who played the infamous spy in Tomorrow Never Dies.

Daniel Craig’s stiff acting as 007 was not even remedied by his love interest, Madeleine Swann, portrayed by French actress Lea Seydoux. Monica Bellucci has a short role as Lucia Sciarra, the wife of a man Bond kills, but she’s rather underused and underdeveloped in the role. Whinshaw in particular is given a bit more to do while Harris and Fiennes are put more on the sidelines until the film’s climax. Meanwhile, back in London, the film follows C (Andrew Scott), who is in the late stages of constructing a giant surveillance centre in London that he believes will make the “Double-O’ program obsolete”.

The leader of the organization (Waltz) recognizes James after 007 sneaks into a secret meeting of the organization and claims their paths have crossed numerous times before without James even knowing it. He dispatches a henchman, Hinx (Dave Bautista), to take 007 out for good. “But along the way, I think it’s good to see him being emotional”.

Spectre also reintroduces humour into the series, something the filmmakers have avoided in the Craig era, which gives it a classic Bond feel. He infiltrates the sinister organisation Spectre and so the story unfolds.

Spectre is taking the world by storm. Its action scenes are quite well done, especially the cold opening, and Mendes’ direction is great.
