Daniel Radcliffe Goes Undercover to Take Down Neo-Nazis in IMPERIUM
Well, it’s definitely a different vibe to Harry Potter. It also stars Toni Colette, Burn Gorman, Tracy Letts and more.

“An FBI agent goes under cover to disrupt a local terrorist group’s effort to make a dirty bomb”.
Imperium tells the story of Nate Foster, played by Daniel, who must stick to his new identity while maintaining his principles in the risky underworld of white supremacy, according to Lionsgate.
The trailer’s biggest hook is what we’ve already talked about: Radcliffe taking on a controversial and uncharacteristic role. You can currently see him in multiplexes around the country in Now You See Me 2 poking fun at his magician image, or as a farting corpse in Swiss Army Man. On the surface, he’s playing a white supremacist here, although his role is as an undercover Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, trying to prevent a terror attack. Hopefully he keeps this adventurous spirit moving forward through the rest of his career.

The thriller, which hits theaters August 19, marks the directorial debut of Daniel Ragussis, who based his screenplay on real events and was inspired by the recent surge in right-leaning extremism around the world.
