Daniel Tosh wins $25K on game, pays for his friend’s cancer treatment
However, he used his platform for a bit of good this week, leveraging his celebrity to help raise money for his friend and fellow comic Andy Ritchie, who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Lucky for both gentlemen involved, the bet paid off. And Ritchie now has the winnings going towards his medical expenses.
Daniel Tosh found a reason to like the New England Patriots… for a half.
Tosh had raised the initial $25,000 by auctioning off props and costumes from his Comedy Central show, “Tosh.o”. The actual Gofundme has already passed the $46,000 mark.
Comedian Daniel Tosh has made it well known through his television show and stand up act that he is a Miami Dolphins supporter who is no fan of the New England Patriots.
“Once I double it, (Ritchie) can do whatever he wants with it; go on a lion-hunting safari or get treatment”, Tosh said.
Charlie Siskel the executive producer of the show, confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter the authenticity of the comedian’s claim. “If they’re losing, Andy gets a few much needed help”, Tosh said earlier this week on an episode of his Comedy Central show, Tosh.0.
“…Tosh did what any responsible friend would do, and put it all on the Patriots to cover the 3.5-point first-half spread against his beloved Dolphins on Thursday night. If the Dolphins are only losing by three points, there is no God”, Tosh said. “So please Tom Brady”.

Now Tosh was also hoping for the Dolphins to come from behind in the second half.
