In other words, the Giants felt they were literally incapable of rushing for a score. They sacked the iconic QB three times, forced two fumbles and picked him off once.
The game was a hard one for the Patriots, as their games against the Giants usually are. The New England Patriots, with an undefeated season on the line no timeouts in hand, trailed NY by two points as the clock wound down under two minutes. They still have Tom Brady and Gronkowski.
BIG PLAYS: Brady and Manning each had monster plays, and so did Pats returner Danny Amendola.
“If you’re looking for McKelvin, you’ve got to look at the last two games”. With each passing week, he continues to build a convincing case as the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. Amendola doesn’t have the same fantasy upside as his injured teammate, but he must be owned in all fantasy formats.
The damage, though, was done, and it was bloody. So from a fantasy football perspective, which players benefit the most from Edelman’s injury?
Given the opportunity, Amendola has a chance to play a much more pivotal role down the stretch.

But I’m still not counting out the Giants.

Aaron Dobson, Brandon LaFell, and Scott Chandler should all see their targets increase, as well, but they can’t replace Edelman’s cat-like quickness out of the slot.
