Danny Amendola leaves game with knee injury

After losing key offensive players in back-to-back weeks, the New England Patriots can exhale on Tuesday afternoon.

Patriots receiver Danny Amendola may not have to miss an extensive amount of time after coming up lame on a punt return in New England’s win over the Bills Monday. Curran reports his availability against the Broncos will be determined by “how he responds to treatment and an increase in workload as the week progresses”.

The Patriots have shuffled linemen all season long, though here, there are plenty of good reasons for the shuffling. NFL Media’s Rand Getlin also reported that Amendola’s sprained knee should be considered a week-to-week injury.

With top wide out Julian Edelman suffering a fractured left foot last week, the Patriots are now left with just three true wide receivers (Danny Amendola, Brandon LaFell, Chris Harper). Buffalo came into this game with one of the worst run defenses in the league, and the Pats couldn’t take advantage.

Eli Manning and the Giants must improve when they get near the other team's goal line
