Danny Amendola: Week-to-week with knee sprain
The NFL Network’s Albert Breer reported Tuesday morning that Amendola is scheduled to have an MRI on his knee to further evaluate the injury, but FOX Sports’ Mike Garafolo followed up saying the team is optimistic that the injury is not serious.

Patriots receiver Danny Amendola may not have to miss an extensive amount of time after coming up lame on a punt return in New England’s win over the Bills Monday.
Curran adds his availability against the Broncos will be determined by how he responds to treatment and an increase in work load as the week progresses.
While special teamer Matthew Slater can be used in four wide receiver sets as well as tight end Rob Gronkowski, the Patriots’ reserve players will have to help the team remain undefeated as the Bills look to spoil their AFC East rival’s plans.
Dobson was not been listed on the injury report in the days leading up to Monday’s game, which implied that he was a full participant in practices last week.
Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson, who hurt his ankle Monday night, is expected to miss at least Sunday’s game, Curran also reports.

On the Amendola front, this is great news, because with Julian Edelman already gone for the rest of the regular season, the Pats could not afford to lose Amendola.
