The 26 man selection has to be trimmed down to 23, and unless he suffers another injury, there’s little chance Wilshere won’t make the cut.

It will also be the fourth time Liverpool have had five or more players included in a final squad. Rashford might be near the next best thing, but at least he has played some games and proved his worth to be in the squad.
