Danny Lee wins Greebrier Classic in four-man playoff – Golf, PGA Tour
Danny Lee secured his first PGA Tour title when he triumphed after two play-off holes to win the Greenbrier Classic in West Virginia on Sunday.

All four players had finished on 13-under-par for the tournament with Lee and Hearn both carding 67s, while Kisner fired a 64 to set the pace at White Sulphur Springs.
The foursome headed back to the par-3 18th. Kisner and Streb were then in the clubhouse at 13-under.
“I was so nervous”, he said. And that happened on Sunday at The Greenbrier when he finished second, losing a heartbreaking playoff to Danny Lee.
Thomas shot 33-34 in his first round, which included an ace, four birdies and three bogeys.
Hearn (67) and Lee (67) birdied No. 17 to join the playoff. It’s just wonderful, it feels wonderful. I’ve been so close so many times this year and to win one, wow. “It means so much to me, this victory”.
“It was a really tough shot from [Hearn’s position], and I just had an easy 7-iron, hit it over the tree and put it in the fairway”.
“Now I understand what winning feels like”, he said.
He bogeyed the par-4 ninth, after his tee shot found the bunker, to finish with a 32 on the front. Henley ended alone in fourth at 12-under-par 268. Molder shot 70 and the others had over-par rounds.
Lee and Hearn won spots in the British Open, along with Hahn and Owen.
Tiger Woods closed with a 3-under 67 to end at 7-under-par 273. “But it takes time, I’m pleased with what I’ve been able to do though”. He 3-putted for bogey on nine and 4-putted for double-bogey at 10. At 24, he’s just one of many rising Koreans looking to make their mark in the game including Seung-Yul Noh and Sang Moon Bae. The two moved to the 17th after Kevin Kinser and Robert Streb bowed out at No. 18 in part of a four-man playoff.
Woods rolled in three birdies and had 15 pars to finish the tournament at seven-under 273.
Bernd Wiesberger won the biggest title of his career at the French Open on Sunday, producing a mid-round birdie barrage that blew apart a top-class field. Lee began the stretch with an aggressive birdie on the par-5 17.
On the second playoff hole, the par 5 17th, both golfers put themselves in trouble in the rough with their tee shots, forcing layups.
Hearn parred the final two and Lee the last to force the playoff.
Super proud of the way I played this week!

“I wouldn’t say I’ve practiced with the wedge a lot, but it worked out OK”, he said. “I had it all on call today”.
