Darksiders: Warmastered Edition packs in some meaty upgrades
And it will be available on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U.

Having been previously revealed during an event in Spain, Nordic Games has now officially lifted the lid on its upcoming remastered version of Darksiders: Wrath of War, which will launch under the name Darksiders: Warmastered Edition.
As we all know, not every game needs to be 60fps (for instance, puzzle games), but frame-perfect action games with higher difficulty modes like Darksiders?
Darksiders: Wrath of War sees you playing as first Horseman of the Apocalypse, War, as he’s tricked into prematurely initiating the end of the world.
“Hunted by a vengeful group of Angels, War must take on the forces of Hell, forge uneasy alliances with the very demons he hunts, and journey across the ravaged remains of the Earth on his quest for vengeance and vindication”. The good news is that Darksiders Warmastered is coming to PS4, Xbox One and even the Wii U, but at the same time, I’m not sure anybody was asking for this game given that the original still looks pretty good even after six years.

Will the Warmastered Edition revitalize interest in the franchise, especially with Darksiders 3 rumoured to be in development? This version promises native 1080p rendering resolution, doubled texture resolutions, rendering improvements and rework, better shadow rendering quality, post processing effects, and 60 FPS in moment to moment gameplay (30 for WiiU).
