Data Mining of Street Fighter 5 Files Reveal More Game Details
Multiplayer is an important part of Street Fighter V, and the company needs to make sure that it is easy for gamers to get into matches and that lag does not pose a problem in the long run. Now, eager fans have data mined files of the beta version of the game (which was for the PC) and discovered that Capcom intends to introduce six new characters as downloadable content (DLC). The audio files excavated reveal that the DLC list for the classic game will comprise Guile, Balrog, Ibuki, Urien, Alex and Juri.

The developers recently concluded the beta testing for Street Fighter V, which primarily focused on cross-platform play.
Easily one of my favourite new additions to the franchise, Juri was simply a phenomenal character to use for beginners, and with a great design to boot.
Data miners have been busy this past week, going through hundreds of lines of codes for Street Fighter V and in the process unearthing precious information for the community. These audio clips suggest that beloved characters from Street Fighter III and IV will be added to the roster, but fans are left wondering in what capacity, as these characters did not turn up in a previous datamine of the game’s roster.
Capcom has another launch character to reveal, who is only referenced in the files as Fan. Capcom announced in the summer that it would release a steady stream of new characters post-launch, and that players would be able to get them for free with in-game currency earned through play.
Alternately, they can pay real money to gain access to the characters.
A variety of sound files also include the names of Capcom Pro Tour events as well as their host country. The “Street Fighter 5” is planning to beef up the battle roster after the launch with a DLC, and, now, the characters included have been leaked to the public.

Data miners also unearthed files related to the game’s ranking system, where players will be able to level themselves up to reach the top of the ladder.
