However, comedian Doug Stanhope, who is a good friend of the 52-year-old actor, said in a guest column published by The Wrap that Heard is blackmailing Depp, and that Stanhope and their other friends have seen it coming. On Friday, she said to the judge in LA court that Depp is abuser, alcoholician and paranoidal person. Stanhope said it was at that moment that the couple made a decision to come clean to their friend about the suspicions they had long held about his wife, who the comedian dubbed a “manipulative a*****e”.

Lawyer Peter Sample also demanded a retraction of the article, saying the “allegations against Ms Heard are absolutely and unequivocally false” and “outrageous”.
In an Instagram post Sunday, Lily-Rose Depp calls her father “the sweetest most loving person I know”. And he told me that day ahead of time that she’d pull some kind of s-t like this.
